Job Summary & Job Duties

We are seeking a driven, hands on Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team that specializes in engineered materials and coating solutions for semiconductor applications worldwide.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have the personality and temperament to work as part of a team.
• Analyze technical problems and provide solutions.
Review assigned projects to define, design, develop and deploy the most workable solution utilizing the least amount of resources.
• Record procedure and results, numerical and graphical data and make recommendations for changes in product or test method.
• Assisting production departments with fixturing and tooling.
• Implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency as well as improve yields and reduce cycle time.
• Disposition NCs, investigate customer complaints, perform FA’s, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform DOE to optimize processes.
• Develop specs and produce documents for manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Responsible to maintain SPC
• Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
• Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
• Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
• Provide support to the production floor.
Salary Range: 95K - 103K

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams.
• Be highly motivated and able to work under strict deadlines..
• Expertise in :
o reading precision drawings with emphasis in GD&T
o FMEA
o solid modeling software such as Solid Works.
o dimensional Analysis and Configuration Control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and technical writing abilities.
• Sound organizational skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to lift/pull/push up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to wear the necessary PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, etc.)
• Overtime and weekends could be required during heavy workload or to meet special customer demands.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, and chemicals, with protective equipment provided as needed.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Visual acuity to inspect parts and review detailed documents and reports.
• Flexible to train in other work areas as needed.
