GENERAL NATURE OF JOB:
Global Aerospace Market Manager plays a crucial role in identifying new market opportunities and expanding the company's reach. They conduct market research, monitor and analyze trends, define future demand, drive strategic initiatives, and track performance to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with company goals. This role will involve strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our strategies align with market demands and contribute to company growth in core and growth market segments.
The Global Aerospace Market Manager is a fully remote position and can sit in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France or Germany.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Strategic planning - Collaborates with product management, strategic marketing, and sales teams to define strategic roadmaps and prioritize initiatives, execution strategy, tactic planning and deployment. Work collaboratively with strategic growth team to identify and assess acquisition targets aligned with growth strategy. Assess existing projects and programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Key metrics include Strategic Market Roadmap delivery and Total Estimated Opportunity Value of New Market Pipeline.
- Market research and analysis - Provides market eco-system definition including a deep-dive segmentation analysis, competitive landscape, and defined market problems that align with our capabilities. Collects and shares market intelligence, terminology, and emergent market dynamics. Develops and executes process to collect Market research/VOM and competitive analysis. Identifies key trends, customer needs, and opportunities for strategic differentiation. Analyzes and interprets data to make informed recommendations on strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Prepares and presents periodic market updates on near-term market outlook, strategic insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Key metrics include End-Market Map and segmentation analysis delivery.
- Strategic campaign leadership - Develops and leads strategies around the promotion of our existing portfolio of distinctive products to applicable emergent and new markets through Commercial Campaigns. Works closely with customers, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams to understand the key personas, buying journeys, market problems and the value of our products. Supports strategic technical customer meetings, as necessary. Develop metrics and KPIs to track the performance of strategic initiatives and inform necessary adjustments. Organize leads, utilize CRM and sales tools to best manage market strategy.
- Key metrics include Sales Velocity in Targeted Segments and Total # of New Leads from Commercial Campaigns.
- Industry networking & thought leadership - Build and join networks to immerse into the end market ecosystem. Lead the evaluation of potential partnerships and new business models. Monitor and respond to industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to ensure our strategies remain competitive and compliant.
- Cross-functional team leadership - Provides vision, strategy, and leadership from an end-market lens and develops a collaborative environment between Market, Product, Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, Operations, and other key stakeholders. Works effectively with others to identify and resolve issues.
JOB QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering, or equivalent experience. MBA a plus.
- Business experience at a managerial level within product management, sales, marketing, or engineering.
- Industry, customer, competitor, and product knowledge a plus.
- Ability to build, develop, and engage teams directly and indirectly.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead globally in and outside a matrix environment.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills to leverage data-driven insights and influence commercial activity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
- Up to 50% travel, both domestic and international

PAY TRANSPARENCY
Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Bonus, gainshare, and/or equity may be eligible for this position. Enpro offers a range of benefits including, but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) matching, and other supplemental insurance options.
United States: The hiring range for this position is typically USD $77,000 to $115,000 annually.
