Join Enpro and Shape the Future of Semiconductor Innovation
Join Enpro as a Senior Product Line Director within Advanced Surface Technologies (AST) and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of semiconductor capital equipment solutions. This is a highly visible leadership role where strategy meets execution, owning product direction, enabling OEM share gain, and driving differentiated value through technology leadership. If you thrive at the intersection of deep technical expertise, commercial judgment, and cross functional influence, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on Enpro’s growth, our customers’ success, and the future of advanced manufacturing.
Role Overview
The Senior Product Line Director – AST owns the strategy, execution, and performance of assigned AST product lines serving the semiconductor capital equipment market. This role is accountable for profitable growth, OEM share gain, and N+2 readiness through disciplined product management, value based pricing, and strong cross functional leadership. Operating with a high degree of independence, the role requires deep semiconductor equipment and/or process expertise and credibility with OEM customers, fabs, and internal technical teams.
What You’ll Do:
Own end‑to‑end product strategy for assigned AST product lines, including multi‑year roadmaps, technology direction, and investment priorities aligned with OEM roadmap inflections, fab process evolution, and emerging technology requirements.
Author and own MRDs and PRDs, translating OEM and fab requirements into clear, executable product definitions that guide R&D, operations, and commercial execution.
Lead products through the full lifecycle — from concept and business case development through NPI, scale‑up, high‑volume manufacturing, and end‑of‑life — ensuring disciplined transitions and execution rigor at each phase.
Drive OEM share gain by partnering with Business Development and Commercial teams to enable design‑ins, platform expansions, and pull‑through opportunities across components, subsystems, and integrated AST solutions.
Define and execute N+2 product and technology strategies, anticipating OEM roadmap shifts and positioning AST for long‑term relevance and differentiated value at advanced nodes.
Develop and own value‑based pricing strategy, translating technical performance, reliability, and total cost‑of‑ownership advantages into compelling OEM value propositions, while enforcing margin discipline.
Support deal strategy and opportunity selection, providing clear product positioning, pricing logic, and go / no‑go recommendations based on strategic fit, technical risk, margin profile, response capacity, and long‑term value creation.
Own market and competitive intelligence for the product line, including competitor technologies, cost structures, and roadmaps; translate insights into differentiation strategy, roadmap choices, and investment decisions.
Lead cross‑functionally through influence, driving clarity on priorities, trade‑offs, and decisions across R&D, operations, supply chain, quality, and sales to accelerate execution and deliver consistent commercial and operational results.
