Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define and implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency as well as improve yields and reduce cycle time.
• Develop and update procedures and work instructions for manufacturing processes based on customer requirements.
• Assist in product development and production departments with fixturing and tooling.
• Define inspection criteria based on statistical analysis.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot production and quality issues.
• Provide material review dispositions for non-conforming materials or parts.
• Provide support to the production floor.
• Engage with supply chain to address quality issues.
• Review assigned projects to define, design, develop and deploy the most workable solution utilizing the least amount of resources.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide accurate quotes based on prints/requirements provided from customer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understand GD&T drawings and technical specification requirements.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing process quality controls.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams.
• Be highly motivated and able to work under strict deadlines.
• Experience in Solid Works is desirable.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds by self in a safe manner.
• Extensive periods of sitting, talking on the phone, and working on the computer.
• Extensive periods of walking and standing.
