The Quality Systems Specialist is responsible for administration, governance, and continuous improvement of the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) and enterprise training system. This role serves as the primary system administrator and subject matter expert, ensuring quality documentation, training assignments, and qualification records are accurate, current, and audit-ready.

This position partners closely with Operations, Engineering, and site leadership to coordinate training requirements, support document control processes, and maintain qualification and training compliance across the organization. The role provides system expertise, establishes standardized processes, and supports leaders in executing training and quality system requirements.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as system administrator for the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), including maintenance and user support.
  • Support implementation and ongoing management of the eQMS system, ensuring records, qualifications, and assignments are accurate and audit-ready.
  • Maintain role-based training requirements and training matrices to ensure alignment with job responsibilities and quality system requirements.
  • Assign and track required training associated with new hires, job changes, and document revisions.
  • Monitor completion and qualification status of eQMS, to include NCRs, calibration, and training, and provide reports to Quality and site leadership.
  • Partner with supervisors and managers to address overdue items and ensure requirements are completed in a timely manner.
  • Deliver training on quality system fundamentals, eQMS processes, and manufacturing or operational procedures, as applicable.
  • Maintain and update training materials to reflect quality standards and current processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing training records and system documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve eQMS system functionality, reporting, and training effectiveness.
  • Partner with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and leadership to support effective execution of quality system requirements.

What You Will Bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related filed, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience working within a Quality Management System, training system, or document control environment in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience using electronic systems to manage training records, documentation, or quality processes
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and administer technical systems
