Job Summary & Job Duties

We are seeking a driven, hands on Manufacturing Engineer to lead our RTM (Real Time Manufacturing)/NPI (New Product Introduction) team that specializes in manufacturing components for semiconductor capital equipment worldwide.

Minimum Qualifications

• Communicate with customers regarding part prototyping and fabrication needs.
• Provide customer quotations for executing RTM/NPI designs.
• Take ownership of projects from quotation through to shipping.
• Collaborate with the RTM/NPI team to ensure flawless execution of every process step.
• Conduct design reviews with key stakeholders to manage internal and external expectations.
• Project manage and communicate the status of each project to the customer.
• Create, maintain, and report performance data regarding the RTM/NPI process.
• Develop presentations to highlight potential challenges and propose solutions to the customer.
• Develop and communicate contingency and recovery plans to stakeholders as needed.
• Contact RCCA and apply lessons learned to ensure overall process improvements.
• Analyze technical problems and provide solutions.
• Record procedures and results, including numerical and graphical data, and recommend changes in product or test methods.
• Design fixturing and tooling as needed.
• Ensure the delivery of products from RTM and NPI to production, including clear work statements, WI, and setup sheets.
• Disposition NCs, submit customer notification forms, and assist in submitting first article inspections.
• Develop specifications and produce documents for manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in design and machining.
• Experienced with GD&T and SPC
• Experience in Solid Works.
• Experienced with Dimensional Analysis and Configuration Control a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and technical writing abilities.
• Sound organizational skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds by self in a safe manner
• Extensive periods of sitting, talking on the phone, and working on the computer.
• Extensive periods of walking and standing.
