The Senior Accountant supports the regional finance team by preparing and posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and delivering monthly financial results, along with other assigned accounting responsibilities.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the Regions' sites with month-end close by preparing journal entries, completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, performing variance analysis, managing intra‑ and intercompany activity, and assisting with additional reporting needs as they arise.
  • Lead and manage the internal and external audit process by preparing key documentation, coordinating auditor requests, and ensuring inquiries are resolved promptly to deliver a smooth, compliant audit experience.
  • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley and other internal controls are conducted on time, documented with precision, and consistently monitored to maintain compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and automate workflows, apply best practices, and help drive greater efficiency across accounting operations.
  • Review and analyze monthly financial results, and provide clear, actionable feedback to operational leaders to support efficiency gains and cost‑reduction efforts.
  • Support the team with ad hoc projects and requests as they arise.

What You Will Bring:

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum Experience:
    • At least four years of accounting experience, which may include a combination of public and corporate accounting.
    • Computer skills, including intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Travel: Able to travel up to 10% of the time as business needs require.
