The Director of ERP Applications will lead the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems across the organization. This role is responsible for managing a high-performing ERP team, driving digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring ERP platforms support business goals through reliable, secure, and scalable solutions. Serving as the overall Design Authority, accountable for ERP solution standardization and Architectural integrity across the global ERP landscape
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Develop and lead Enpro’s comprehensive ERP applications strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational objectives across the Enpro Family of businesses.
Responsible for developing and leading Enpro’s ERP implementation program, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction across multiple sites and companies.
Support executives across the organization in determining effective ways to utilize the ERP system to achieve organizational objectives and strategic plans.
Build and lead high-performing ERP applications teams fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning
Ensure ERP systems are available, secure, and performing optimally by managing both cloud and on-premises ERP lifecycles including mandatory vendor releases, testing and new ERP feature adoption.
In collaboration with other senior leaders, lead discussions with cross-functional Leaders to determine appropriate enterprise solutions.
Establish and develop ERP governance frameworks such as a Business Process Owner network and ensuring business accountability for process design and data quality.
Establish strategic partnerships and oversee vendor relationships and contracts related to ERP platforms and services. Ensuring vendor performance, influencing vendor roadmaps and optimizing contract value.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning by staying current with industry trends and best practices to guide ERP evolution.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ERP efficiency and effectiveness.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
Minimum 10 years of experience in ERP systems and business process management, including leadership roles in cross-functional environments.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated track record of multiple successful “greenfield” and end to end ERP implementations
Experience in leading multi-year EPR implementation programs over multiple sites and companies.
Proven experience of establishing and developing an ERP implementation and support team
Experience in ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Expertise in IFS ERP implementations preferred.
Strong understanding of data technologies.
Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
Experience leading Master Data Management (MDM) and integration architecture in a hybrid cloud environment
Experience leading digital transformation and business process improvement initiatives.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement.
Strong project management capabilities including budgeting, resource planning, and risk mitigation in a product management and Agile Saas environment.
Willingness and ability to travel globally up to 50%.
