This role combines advanced commercial finance, pricing, forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic planning capabilities to ensure commercial decisions are grounded in sound financial logic and aligned with company objectives. The position operates independently, influences key business decisions, and proactively identifies revenue, pricing, customer, product, and margin opportunities while improving the processes and analytical tools that support commercial performance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a trusted finance business partner to Commercial and Sales leadership, providing proactive financial guidance, commercial insights, and decision support that improves growth quality and profitability.
  • Support pricing analysis and governance processes, including price realization, discounting trends, pricing exceptions, margin thresholds, contract pricing mechanisms, and pricing actions tied to cost or market changes.
  • Provide financial evaluation of customer quotes, large or non-standard commercial opportunities, contract renewals, strategic deal proposals, rebates, incentives, and commercial agreements.
  • Own customer, product, channel, and segment profitability analytics to identify margin drivers, sources of margin leakage, and opportunities for customer or portfolio optimization.
  • Analyze commercial performance versus budget, forecast, prior year, and strategic plan through volume, price, mix, margin, and cost driver analysis.
  • Lead development of revenue, volume, and margin forecasting assumptions by integrating pipeline activity, bookings, backlog, pricing actions, customer demand trends, and market intelligence.
  • Support S&OP, annual planning, long-range planning, and strategic growth initiatives through scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, business cases, and risk/opportunity assessments.
  • Partner cross-functional with Sales, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to improve decision quality and align commercial actions with financial outcomes.
  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve commercial reporting, dashboards, KPIs, data models, and performance scorecards across ERP, CRM, pricing, and BI platforms.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and narratives that translate complex commercial and financial data into clear recommendations, risks, opportunities, and action plans.
