The Product Technician I – Hubcap Assembly is responsible for supporting day-to-day production operations within the assembly area. This role is a key contributor to a high-performing team and is expected to assemble components, follow standard work, and ensure product quality through accurate inspection and defect detection.

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to consistently follow standardized processes, and a commitment to safe work practices, quality execution, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform manual and/or semi-automated assembly operations in accordance with established standard work and safety procedures
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies using tools, fixtures, and work instructions to meet product specifications
  • Inspect finished and in-process work to identify defects, ensuring only conforming product moves forward
  • Follow standard work instructions to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency in assembly processes
  • Use basic measurement tools and visual inspection techniques to verify product quality
  • Support all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and hazard identification
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with 5S standards
  • Participate in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Accurately complete production tracking, quality checks, and documentation
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production and quality targets

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1+ years of manufacturing or production experience
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Experience in mechanical or component assembly environments
  • Familiarity with standard work, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
  • Frequent use of hands for assembly tasks, tools, and materials handling
  • Ability to lift, move, or position components as required
  • Visual acuity to inspect parts and identify defects
