NxEdge is a world class company providing vertically integrated solutions to the Semiconductor market. We offer 4- and 5-axis milling, conventional and Swiss turning, as well as offering repair and reconditioning of electro-mechanical subassemblies. We are seeking a Recondition Technician for our Refurb Department who is willing to learn and help support their team.

Description:

The Recondition Technician person will report directly to the manager of repair/refurb. Job functions will include day to day support of the decontamination and cleaning of subassemblies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Technicians to clean and prepare parts for reassembly.
  • Reassemble parts and package for shipment.
  • Use common hand tools, sanders, drills etc.
  • Enter data in Epicor to track time and parts.

Qualifications:

  • Great attention to detail.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to learn basic wiring/circuit board repair.
  • Able to troubleshoot problems in an efficient time.
  • Possess basic knowledge in soldering.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player.
  • Must comply with NxEdge Safety Attire Policy, which includes safety glasses, steel or composite toe shoes and ear plugs (if deemed necessary).

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 35 pounds by self, in safe manner.
