We are seeking a driven, hands-on Assembly, Inspection & Packaging Technician to join our ever-growing company and team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble, inspect, and package a variety of machined parts
Perform incoming inspection of parts returned from outside vendors
Manually and electronically install coiled inserts into threaded holes
Press dowel pins into parts using an arbor press
Conduct visual inspections for cosmetic defects or imperfections prior to packaging
Periodically gown up and work in a Class 5 cleanroom environment
Package screws, washers, and other components according to customer specifications
Work with various cleaning agents including isopropyl alcohol
Use tools such as hand sanders when needed
Preferred Skills:
Experience using hand tools
Ability to read blueprints
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with ERP Software
Experience with Microsoft software or equivalent programs
Expectations:
Basic computer knowledge
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds (up to 25 pounds with one arm)
Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods
Ability to reach, stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch as required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements
Vision abilities including close-up, distance, color recognition, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Ability to complete tasks safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized work area
Proper use of all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and company safety policies
Perform additional duties as assigned by production management
