The Account Development Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the Account Development team, with a focus on proactive customer engagement, account development, revenue support and team performance. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role coaches and supports team members, reinforces consistent processes, leverages customer insights and partners with Sales and Customer Service to help deliver a high-quality customer experience and support business growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop Account Development team members to achieve individual and team performance goals.
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive customer engagement, account development, customer retention, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
  • Monitor pipeline activity, forecasting, and key performance metrics to ensure accountability and visibility.
  • Partner with Sales to support account growth strategies and identify opportunities to expand customer relationships.
  • Establish and reinforce standardized sales processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Drive CRM adoption, data integrity, pipeline management, and reporting discipline.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and customer-focused problem solving.
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships through proactive outreach and engagement.
  • Gather and communicate Voice of Customer insights to support product, service, and process improvements.
  • Partner with Customer Service and other cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and support business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase team effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance.
  • Provide frontline insights and recommendations to support STEMCO's customer growth initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, customer success or a related customer-facing role
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow customer relationships while identifying growth opportunities
  • Experience leveraging CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to manage customer engagement, opportunities and pipeline activity
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, coaching and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to support change, reinforce accountability and influence results through coaching and collaboration
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into customer growth and business improvement opportunities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of the commercial vehicle, transportation, manufacturing or related industries
  • Experience building or improving customer-facing processes, programs or business functions
