JOB SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement activities for the business. This role leads strategic global sourcing, purchasing, risk mitigation, cost reduction and supply base expansion activities to assist in enhancing performance and growth of the organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, and a creative, critical thinker with a strong motivation to learn. The Supply Chain Manager must be an effective communicator and be able to work as a leader of professionals to generate a high-quality work product in a collaborative, creative, ever-changing, and often ambiguous environment. We expect a professional demeanor and an ability to interact with suppliers, internal business partners and stakeholders at every level.
Key activities include development of the supply chain team, efficient and cost-effective sourcing of strategic direct and indirect materials and supplier relationship management.
Direct line reporting to Director, Supply Chain with dotted line reporting to Director of Operations.

This is primarily an onsite role in an office environment, some manufacturing floor exposure, some travel (up to 20% may be required.)
