NxEdge, an Enpro company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for a dynamic, advanced manufacturing environment. The Senior Accountant will manage general ledger activities, monthly and quarterly close processes, account reconciliations, and compliance requirements for a publicly traded company. The position also involves supporting audits, contributing to process improvements, and collaborating across departments to drive efficiency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End & Quarter-End Close

  • Perform monthly close activities, including recurring and non-recurring journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Maintain accurate P&L and balance sheet accounts across multiple entities.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, fixed assets, leases, and intercompany transactions.
  • Upload and maintain ledgers in the company-wide consolidation module (OneStream).

Audit & Compliance

  • Support quarterly and annual internal and external audits.
  • Prepare quarter-end and year-end reporting packages to support SEC reporting.
  • Participate in compliance activities, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and quarterly analytics.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and efficiency, including RPA initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and cost accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and consolidation software; OneStream experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.
