Rubber Fab is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on inspection work, problem-solving, and collaborating with manufacturing teams to continuously improve processes and product performance.

Job Summary:  

This position is responsible for ensuring product quality through interpreting customer requirements, inspecting products and documenting results. 

Job Duties:   

  • Inspects manufactured or out-sourced products for non-conformities. 
  • Manage incoming inspection activities for raw materials and components.
  • Collect and maintain quality data, including scrap, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Performs inspections using micrometers, calipers and other inspection systems. 
  • Maintain quality inspection records and enter data into the ERP system.
  • Calibrates inspection instruments and gauges used for product inspection and maintains calibration system records. 
  • Identifies quality defects throughout the production processes.  
  • Participates in corrective and preventive actions, as well as continuous improvement efforts. 
  • Develop and execute sampling plans and make product acceptance decisions.
  • Performs First Article Inspections (FAI), verify and validate process, documentation, tooling, and equipment. 
 
  • Remain informed of current quality standards, industry requirements, and best practices.
  • Support additional quality and operational initiatives as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:          

 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
  • 1-2 years of Quality Control experience. 
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred. 

Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $25.00 - 35.00 hourly. Actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
