Mobile - Cut Gasket

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing role where precision, flexibility, and teamwork matter every day? Garlock is hiring a Mobile - Cut Gasket team member to support our Fabricated Gasket Department at the Palmyra campus.

In this role, you will help produce quality gasket products that support critical industries and customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accurate work, and is willing to jump in where needed across production areas.

What You’ll Do

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled work throughout the Fabricated Gasket Department.
• Work from prints, sketches, and measurements to meet close tolerances.
• Use a variety of measuring tools and production equipment.
• Assist in multiple production areas to support customer demand and reduce workload constraints.
• Perform minor repairs to woodback dies, including replacement of die rubbers and steel rule as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Operate a fork truck and support other production needs as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Manufacturing experience or a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and work from prints, sketches, and job instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to support different assignments and shifts as production needs change.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; heavier lifts require two-person or mechanical assistance.
• Fork truck experience is helpful, but training may be provided.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment. Working conditions may vary by assignment and may include dirt, dust, heat, and regular movement throughout production areas.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2pm-10pm

Starting Pay: $27.21/hour, Pay Range: $27.21-29.33/hour, Shift Differential (2nd): $1.50/hour

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs all Skilled and Semi - Skilled jobs Fabricated Gasket Department.

2. Assignments are scheduled on a daily basis by supervisor and may involve working any shift.

3. Uses a wide variety of measuring devises and works to prints and sketches and to close tolerances.

4. Performs minor repairs to woodback dies such as replacement of die rubbers and steel rule as

required

5. Relieves any workers, substitute for workers during their absence, assists in reducing excessive

workloads in production centers. if required.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Keeps work area clean.

2. Operates fork truck.

3. Performs other jobs as assigned by Supervisor.
