We are seeking a driven, hands-on CNC Machinist to join our ever-growing company and team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand blueprints.
  • Program and setup CNC machines.
  • Identify needs and improvements in production.
  • Tend to one or more machine tools, special-purpose machines, or industrial robots to machine metal work pieces to specification on production basis.
  • Lift work piece manually or using hoist; secure work piece in fixture or load automatic feeding device.
  • Start machine, engage feed, and observe operation.
  • Inspect and measure machined work pieces - using instruments such as present comparator, fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometer - to verify conformance to specifications.
  • May file, sand, or shape machined parts, using hand tools and power tools.
  • May clean machined parts using de-greasing tank or solvent and rags.
  • Maintain production quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret GD & T.

 

Qualifications:

  • +3 years minimum CNC machining experience or Apprenticeship or College certificate of completion
  • Basic computer skills such as e-mailing, opening, and printing documents and navigating windows/internet explorer.
  • Read and write G&M programming codes.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds by self in safe manner.
