Information Technology (IT) Project Manager
Enpro is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our corporate Information Technology Team in Charlotte, NC. Reporting directly to the CISO, this role involves planning, managing, and driving projects from ideation to completion. The candidate will collaborate with and influence teams across the organization to execute global technology initiatives in cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, mergers & acquisition integration, business intelligence/analytics, and digital technology advancements. The successful candidate will be an agile leader, learner, and change agent who is both customer and execution focused and equally passionate about solving business problems through innovation and modernization. To be effective, the candidate must lead and collaborate closely with other IT teams throughout the organization to champion Enpro initiatives globally.
Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager:
- Drive the execution of projects varying in scale and scope across the enterprise, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define project scope, project charter and objectives with input from all relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Proactively identify and manage key risks, issues and project escalations.
- Develop accurate estimates for effort, budget and schedule.
- Communicate a clear vision of the project’s objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them.
- Build strong working relationships by partnering with project teams, stakeholders, and internal and external business partners.
- Navigate organizational change management effectively by managing organizational constraints and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Apply expert knowledge of project management frameworks, methodologies, and processes to manage and organize projects and initiatives.
- Understand technical concepts and apply critical thinking to situations; translate complex, often technical concepts into simple terms for any audience.
- Clearly communicate overall progress of projects, including status, issues/risks, and other ad hoc reports/requests through general updates or detailed presentations, as required.
- Develop and maintain all project management documentation.

Required Qualifications of the IT Project Manager:
- 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management leading projects of increasingly complex size and scope
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbal and written
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for driving project success
- Skilled in meeting planning and facilitation with a strong propensity for driving action
- Effective in handling aggressive deadlines, shifting priorities, and resolving issues; demonstrates flexibility and navigates change positively while helping to remove challenges/blockers
- Ability to work collaboratively with large cross-functional teams that are geographically distributed and culturally diverse
- Strong analytic and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing multiple large scale, complex technology projects or programs in parallel
- Skilled in business process analysis, including requirements planning, analysis and documentation, and the application of information technology to solving business needs
- Solution Oriented mindset with a focus on continuous learning and delivering results in dynamic environments while proactively staying current with new trends
- Proficient with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
- Experience building dashboards to demonstrate project and program status and maturity
Preferred Qualifications of the IT Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus
- Experience supporting merger and acquisition (M&A) integrations and divestitures
- Experience supporting projects driving artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI capabilities
- Proven ability to present formally to executive leadership
- Agile or scrum experience
- Familiarity with industry and regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI, ISO, DFARS, ITAR, NIST, and Sarbanes-Oxley
