Summary of Role (Coordinator): The Channel Coordinator plays a critical role in the strategy for our national, multi-site (+25) distributors. The person in this role will be responsible for building and maintaining a network of key point of contacts within each Key Account. The coordinator position will play an active role in initiating awareness campaigns that contribute to organic growth and align with the North American Channel Strategy. Additional responsibilities include regular communication with the Garlock Commercial Team, capturing market intelligence, weekly collaboration with the SDR, FSS and CM, Rotating Specialist Teams, sales analysis and activity capture in our CRM.
Essential Functions:
Supports commercial strategic planning process with team and coordinates activities with required resources across organization.
Gathers voice of distributor feedback, market and competitive intelligence to depict strengths, weaknesses and needs of distributor.
Accurately tracks activity and plans future activity in SalesForce.com.
Maintains the organizational hierarchy and key point of contacts in SalesForce.com.
Uses communication skills to cultivate trusting relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Works with manager on developing key account targets and strategy for specific sales initiatives.
Executes sales plans by making first contact with key POC’s at specified key Accounts.
Coordinates resources to support Key Accounts for the purposes of mutual sales benefit.
Collaborates with all sales segment teams, marketing, e-Commerce, Customer Support and Product Management teams as needed.
Promotes the value proposition of Garlock to our National Account Channel Partners.
Participates in Channel Management & Manufacturer representative planning and strategy sessions.
Promotes the system-to-system connections between Garlock and our Key Accounts Partners.
Coordinates National, Regional, and Market Specific Training.
Intermittent travel up to 5%.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma, Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems a plus.
Relevant experience in customer service.
2 - 5 years of Commercial Experience, business development, marketing or commercial support role.
+3 years of experience with CRM software in previous position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Industry, customer, channel, competitor, and product knowledge a plus.
Highly skilled in MS Excel, MS Suite (including One Drive Sharepoint) and Virtual Communication platforms.
