Job Summary & Job Duties

The Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Manager will support the VP of FP&A with focus on Enpro’s financial health and strategic planning. The role is pivotal in partnering with other leaders to help make informed business decisions with understanding of the financial justifications through the following duties:

  • Promote the Enpro Culture by exhibiting the five principles of exemplary leadership: Modeling the Way, Inspiring a Shared Vision, Enabling Others to Act, Challenging the Process, and Encouraging the Heart
  • Budget/Forecasting: Assist with the annual financial planning process and monthly forecasting across Enpro including supporting Enpro’s divisions and corporate.
  • Streamline Processes: Coordination of divisional review content for corporate leadership. Develop and maintain Excel and PowerPoint templates for divisions to drive consistent and efficient completion.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:  partnering with functional leaders to drive financial acumen and support business strategy.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Facilitation: driving best practices across Enpro’s divisions and corporate thru the building of relationships
  • Management reporting: establishing and maintaining key financial reporting to be used by leadership.
  • Developing and/or enhancing understanding of OneStream software by being a power user and providing support to others.
  • Capital management: oversee, coordinate, and support the CapEx approval process and required reporting.
  • Remain at the forefront of Enpro’s knowledge and use of OneStream to guide the organization towards the highest value next steps weighing benefits of expanded/advanced use of adopted modules vs. implementation of new functionalities.
  • Involvement with the planned data lake creation as necessary to support the centralization of data and reporting across Enpro.

Minimum Qualifications

● Bachelor's in accounting or equivalent. MBA, CPA, CFA and/or other advanced business or finance related education/certification is a plus
● High level of accuracy and attention to detail
● Demonstrated knowledge and usage of Excel and PowerPoint
● Five plus years of combined accounting and/or FP&A experience
● Five plus years of working with CPM; ex. HFM, TM1, OneStream
● Experience in cost accounting analysis
● Global perspective and experience with a business of international scale is preferred
● Ability to analyze financial data and provide summaries including actionable insights
● Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting
● Demonstrated ability to collaborate and to optimize work processes
● Experience identifying areas of possible improvement, creating a plan to improve, and executing the plan
● Ability to work in Charlotte office fully or hybrid environment
● Travel occasionally to sites
5-7 years of experience
