- 1st shift (Monday-Friday from 730am-4pm) 

-$22.17 per hour  

- 8 hour shifts

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs Shipping and Receiving for HPS and the Gylon Area.
2. Receives materials and/or products released from production units for shipping and/or stocking purposes.
3. Responsible for logical and orderly method of organizing finished goods and to facilitate ease of identification and handling.
4. Prioritizes shipping orders using backlogs, reviews all documents for style, size, and qualities and for any special shipping instructions.
5. Determines shipping method if not specified on order set, per scheduled ship dates.
6. Responsible for correct style, size and quantities shipped; as well as quality of goods sent.
7. Performs receiver duties including unloading trucks, vans, etc. weights and counts materials, and keeps records when required.
8. Compares receiving documents (carrier freight bill, delivery receipt and packing lists) to verify items and quantities received.
9. Responsible for receiving, handling, distributing, and storing Raw Materials, and Finished Goods. Includes operation of various pieces of Material Handling Equipment and packaging devices. Requires a valid fork truck license.
10. Picks and completes all requirements to prepare products for shipment using bar code scanning equipment in all facets of the process.
11.  Assigns carrier to specific staging lane and dock door using computer and bar code scanning technology for error proof shipping.
12. Prepares shipping documents, labeling and package marking as required including the completion of pick slips for finished goods customers, domestic or international. Completes system-related information to prepare international bills of lading and other pertinent paperwork required for shipment.
13. Completes all duties specific to the UPS and FedEx line to prepare and complete products for shipment. Files daily pick slips alphabetically for record retention.
14. Ships products via LTL, Courier, TL, Air, or other mode to international and domestic customers as well as completing transactions for stock transfers to other company locations.
15. Maintains and updates files and records related to orders and shipments. Reconciles any discrepancies with shipments, orders and makes appropriate adjustments.
16. Ships various buy/sell items as needed.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.   Keeps work area neat and clean while maintaining 5S standards.

2.   Performs other jobs as assigned by Supervisor.

3.   Completes daily containment check of picking, packing or shipment of components for self and co-workers to verify shipment is correct.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Forklift drivers license required
• Basic computer skills
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Experience with Material Handling equipment. High level of reading ability. Problem solving ability. Uses computer, copy machine, mainframe terminal, bar-coding equipment, and other systems. Operates stand up, walk behind, or sit-down style forklift.

These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $22.17 - $23.48 hourly. Actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
