The Product Technician II – Rubber Molding role is responsible for supporting day-to-day production operations within the Rubber Molding department. This role is an integral part of a high-performing production team and is expected to operate molding equipment, follow standard work, and ensure product quality through effective inspection and defect detection.

This position requires a strong commitment to safe work practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement, while contributing to a collaborative and respectful team environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate rubber molding equipment and related production machinery in accordance with established standard work and safety procedures
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust molding processes to ensure optimal product quality and efficiency
  • Identify, detect, and respond to product defects using visual inspection and measurement tools, ensuring only conforming product moves forward
  • Follow standardized work instructions to maintain consistency, repeatability, and product integrity
  • Perform production activities including molding, trimming, assembly, and packaging as needed
  • Support and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and reporting of hazards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards)
  • Participate in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Accurately complete production documentation and quality checks
  • Collaborate with team members, leads, and support functions to meet production and quality goals

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1+ years of manufacturing or production experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Experience in rubber molding or similar manufacturing processes
  • Experience with quality inspection and defect identification
  • Familiarity with standard work, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
  • Frequent use of hands for operating machinery and handling materials
  • Ability to lift, push, or move materials as required
  • Visual acuity to inspect product quality and detect defects
