Engineering Intern

The Engineering Intern will assist the design engineering team with continuous improvement (CI) projects and support the development of a Design Pedigree database. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, collecting and organizing technical data, and working closely with senior engineers to capture key inputs. The intern will also contribute to documentation, verification matrix reviews, drawings, and other related engineering activities.

What You'll Do: 

• Develop and maintain the Design Pedigree database to support engineering projects and customer inquiries.
• Coordinate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accurate data collection.
• Assist with engineering documentation, including verification matrices, drawings, and related technical records.
• Prepare and deliver a final presentation to train the team on database usage and provide supporting documentation.
• Apply strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.
• Utilize CAD tools (NX preferred) for design-related tasks and support drawing generation.
• Leverage problem-solving and analytical skills to contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.

What You'll Bring:

Required Qualifications: 

Education: Completion of at least 2 years of college coursework and actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Technical Skills: Excel, CAD, and basic engineering principles
