Job Summary:

Performs fabrication and assembly tasks with an unwavering commitment to quality, accuracy, and excellence. Consistently upholds the highest standards to ensure every product meets or exceeds specifications.

Required Responsibilities:

  • Operates all equipment that is part of the Fabrication department, always ensuring optimal performance and precision in every operation.
  • Perform all basic preventative maintenance on associated equipment to maintain high-quality output and minimize errors.
  • Forklift use to transport/relocate inventory or product, with careful attention to avoiding product damage and preserving quality.
  • Demonstrated understanding of all established Standard Operating Procedures, consistently applying best practices to achieve superior results.
  • Inspects incoming materials for use in fabricating parts, prioritizing quality and rejecting materials that do not meet rigorous standards.
  • Verifies compliance of materials to blueprint and job specifications. Notifies supervisor if discrepancies occur, actively safeguarding the integrity of every product.
  • Refers to blueprints or diagrams in laying out guidelines on the surface of required materials to meet specifications. Utilizes rules, scale squares, scribes and other tools to ensure close tolerances and outstanding workmanship.
  • Assembles fabricated materials in compliance with specifications, demonstrating excellence and attention to detail at every stage.
  • Cleans and grinds metal finished parts to meet specification, delivering flawless finishes and consistent quality.
  • Performs repairs on minor machine malfunctions. Notifies supervisor of major machine malfunctions, ensuring uninterrupted high-quality production.
  • Maintains a neat, clean and organized work area to support efficient, quality-driven operations.
  • Performs all assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner, with a strong focus on quality assurance.
  • Manufacture and fabricate metal products, maintaining a commitment to superior craftsmanship and quality standards.
  • Cut to size and spot-weld metallic bands with precision, ensuring strong, reliable results.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as required or assigned, with a focus on continual improvement and excellence.

Experience Requirements:

  • Blueprint / Drawing reading skills are required, with proven ability to interpret and apply details for high-quality fabrication.
  • Must possess the ability to apply basic math skills, specifically with fractions and decimals, to ensure accuracy and excellence in measurements.
  • Ability to use basic measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers with precision, supporting consistent quality control.
  • Read and interpret blueprints / drawings to guarantee compliance with exacting standards.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Solid background working with steel (carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel), demonstrating expertise in producing top-quality parts.
  • Ability to drive a forklift  while maintaining careful handling to protect product quality.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs., contributing to efficient and quality-focused production processes.
