Job Summary & Job Duties
· Developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
· Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste, and increase efficiency.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies, and equipment.
· Monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends, and continuously proposing solutions for process improvement.
· Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
· Communicate with the internal team and customers regarding the Process.
· Engage with customer communication in quality-related matters.
· Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
· Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
· Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
· Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
· Coordinating the VI quoting process for the facility (provide or facilitate quotes).
· Accountable for the movement and completion of VI development parts through the facility.
Minimum Qualifications
Developing and implementing quality standards.
· Developing and implementing quality control systems.
· Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
· Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to meet quality specifications.
· Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
· Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
· Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
· Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
· Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Chemical, industrial, or mechanical engineering
ASQ certification preferred
