Monday-Friday (2pm-10pm) $26.19 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential

Position Summary

Garlock Sealing Technologies is seeking a Mobile: Punch Press employee to support assembly, fabrication, finishing, and shipping operations within our Klozure manufacturing area. This role combines hands-on assembly, light fabrication, inspection, packaging, and material handling functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble Klozure oil seals and related components per work instructions, including post-assembly and product identification steps
• Set up and operate punch presses and related equipment to fabricate metal and rubber components used in seal manufacturing
• Operate shearing, flanging, trimming, forming, spinning, grinding, and perforating equipment as required
• Assemble and disassemble dies and tooling as needed
• Perform in-process and final inspections using visual and dimensional measuring devices to ensure product quality
• Package, label, and prepare finished product for shipment or stock inventory
• Coordinate components for inventory control and final assembly issuance
• Transport materials and finished goods; operate lift truck when required
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines, presses, and dies
• Complete required production and quality documentation as directed

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, routers, and basic prints
• Experience using measuring devices where close tolerances must be observed
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior punch press, stamping, fabrication, or assembly experience preferred

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Prolonged standing with occasional stooping and bending
• Ability to lift up to 30–35 lbs. independently (team or mechanical assistance for heavier items)
• Repetitive motion tasks, including feeding parts
• Exposure to noise, dust, oil, grease, water, and chemical solutions

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all plant safety rules and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $26.19 - $28.28 hourly. Actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
