Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounts receivable team within the shared services center.
• Oversee daily operations including invoicing, collections, dispute resolution, and cash application.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on AR metrics, including DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), aging reports, and collection effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to resolve billing issues and improve customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage relationships with internal and external auditors and support audit activities.
• Maintain and improve internal controls related to AR processes.
• Support ERP system upgrades or implementations related to AR functions.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management for AR staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in a shared services or multi-entity environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, Macola, Oracle, NetSuite, IFS) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
