Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate equipment according to established work instructions and specifications.
• Store, label, and transfer materials and equipment with care.
• Plan and coordinate material transfers to appropriate departments/work centers.
• Perform equipment set-up, clean-up, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Ensure product quality, cleanliness, and adherence to size and thickness tolerance specifications.
• Complete required quality forms and run charts.
• Handle materials as needed and maintain inventory paperwork.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
• Stay informed about production schedules to maintain raw material supply.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently and self-check for conformance to work instructions.
• High School degree or equivalent required
• Must satisfactorily complete written/hands-on testing and interview process.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. (weights over 30 lbs. require assistance or mechanical devices).
• Must be able to wear safety glasses, respirator, work gloves, and smock.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to water mixing, hot ovens, and presses.
• Attention to cleanliness is critical for all process steps.

These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $26.76 - $28.70 hourly. Actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
