Job Summary: 

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process of spiral wound metallic gaskets. You will be responsible for preparing, finishing, and marking gaskets to meet industry standards and customer specifications.    

Essential Functions:  

Buffing Metal Rings:  
Smooth and clean metal rings as they exit the laser cutting machine to ensure quality and safety standards are met.  

Painting Gaskets:  
Apply paint to gaskets using a paint booth, following ASME B16.20 specifications for identification and compliance.  

Stamping Gaskets:  
Use a dot peen stamper to mark gaskets with required identification codes, ensuring traceability and accuracy.  

Quality Control:  
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure all specifications are met before packaging.  

Safety & Maintenance:  
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Report any equipment issues promptly. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with metallic gaskets or similar components.  

• Familiarity with laser cutting, paint booth operations, and dot peen stamping equipment.  

• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and safety standards.  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.  

• Willingness to work in a physically active role and follow safety procedures.
