Technetics Group Daytona and Technetics Group Singapore are leading manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality engineered precision components and bellows assemblies.  We provide our customers with top-tier solutions, exceptional service, and innovative technologies. 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth within our Precision Components product line.   The ideal candidate will be skilled in business strategy, customer acquisition, and relationship management, with a strong technical understanding of precision manufacturing and customer needs within critical, demanding environments such as energy/renewable energy, oil & gas, medical, aerospace, and telecommunications.

    • Business Growth and Opportunity Identification:  Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within target markets, including potential customers, partnerships, and new markets. 
    • Market Research and Strategy Development:  Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor strategies.  Develop and implement business development strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
    • Customer Relationship Management:  Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including decision makers and influencers in target industries such as aerospace, medical, oil & gas, energy, and industrial.
    • Solution Selling:  Collaborate with the Product Line Manager and Engineering to develop tailored solutions that meet customer requirements, leveraging technical expertise to communicate the value of company capabilities and competencies.
    • Lead Generation and Qualification:  Generate leads through networking, industry events, and prospecting.  Qualify leads and convert them into profitable business opportunities.
    • Partnership Development:  Build strategic alliances with industry partners to expand market reach and capabilities.
    • Contract Negotiation and Closing:  Lead negotiations and work closely with customers and internal teams to close high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer satisfaction.
    • Sales Planning, Forecasting and Reporting:  Manages sales leads and cadence through CRM.  Analyzes and understands Win/Loss opportunities to refine plans, processes, and priorities around “Winning”. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on opportunity status, pipeline, and market trends.  Deliver forecasts for sales growth and business development activities. 
    • Continuous Improvement:  Monitor industry advancements, customer feedback, and market dynamics to drive continuous improvement in products, services, and customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to acquire a working knowledge of the company’s full range of products and services.  The candidate must be able to understand how our products can serve the needs of the potential customer and the technical challenges that our customers face. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach to work. Align with Inside Sales and Customer Service functions to provide a cohesive approach and experience.  The candidate must also have the ability to build partnerships and work closely with a cross functional team to meet shared objectives in a timely manner to support the business. 
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends for informed decision-making.
  • High sense of self awareness.  Uses a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.
  • Demonstrates resilience and has an ability to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a cross functional team.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales plans and strategies that align with company goals.
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
  • Established relationships within Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Medical, and other demanding market verticals.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of sales experience required.
  • Ability to travel as needed, with potential travel up to 50% during busy periods.
  • While position is remote, the preference is for someone local to the Daytona Beach area.

Technetics Group Daytona and Technetics Group Singapore designs and manufactures complex front-end wafer processing sub-systems, new and refurbished electrostatic chuck pedestals, and edge-welded metal bellows and associated assemblies for the semiconductor, space, aerospace, and defense markets.  We have long-standing business relationships with key customers and this role is to expand presence and build a customer base across several market verticals with new products and existing product lines.
