Join Enpro as a Finance Manager and help shape the future of the organization by overseeing operational accounting and financial reporting for Enpro’s legal entities in Germany.

The role will play a key role in partnering with the Neuss business leadership team. The role entails developing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and metrics to evaluate operating performance, with a focus on cost efficiency, budget adherence, trend analysis, and identifying opportunities for increased profitability and key metric improvement. As the financial leader of the German operations, ensuring process and data integrity while providing proactive financial leadership to both the local leadership team and corporate controlling.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and develop the finance team of the two locations in Germany.
  • Oversee financial accounting, standard costing and all other controlling activities across all German sites.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, recommending actions to improve profit and increase efficiency.
  • Strategic member of the Neuss leadership team, offering analytical insights and proposing actions for continuous improvement.
  • Support management with financial analysis related to capital investment approvals, product development, pricing, and ad hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with EnPro functions to align local initiatives with corporate objectives, with high engagement with the U.S. based Garlock FP&A team
  • Maintain a robust internal control environment in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP, and local regulations, supporting the issuance of Enpro SEC filings and statutory financial statements
  • Commitment to process standardization, simplification to minimize complexity and cost, and drive organizational change initiatives.
  • Coordinate with IT and relevant stakeholders to optimize systems and address current and future business needs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • You have a degree in business administration with a solid knowledge of accounting and controlling.
  • You have a minimum 3 years of professional experience in controlling and experience with standard costing for inventory.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in managing teams and employees.
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience in using the ERP system "Oracle" and BI tools.
  • You are familiar with SOX controls and experienced in compliance with internal audit regulations.
  • You love numbers, take the initiative and have very good communication skills in German and English.
  • You are characterized by a structured, goal-oriented and independent way of working.
