Overview of Position:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support by actively listening and responding to customer inquiries and concerns.  Your role includes ensuring customer satisfaction, building strong relations, resolving issues, and providing accurate information.  You will also assist customers by addressing complaints, answering questions, and processing orders efficiently and courteously.  This role will be a hybrid to include other administrative tasks as needed to ensure seamless operation of the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works with customers to track the status of their orders, manages expectations, collects feedback and makes recommendations for improvement
  • Manages the details: tracks customer parts, issues purchase orders, maintains supply inventory, updates the quality system
  • Advocate of quality and safety
  • Expert with online systems and processes, building data to guide good decisions
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prefer you to have associate or bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of fast paced detailed people servicing experience
  • Must have demonstrated ability in following instructions, be highly detail oriented and have excellent communication skills
  • Must have pride in his or her work, be self-driven and have a keen quality orientation
  • A working knowledge of chemistry and clean room environment is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • 3-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a high-pace manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a semi-conducted environment preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships with others, to lead and direct the work of others and themselves.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to customers/management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Works together with the shipping and receiving, day to day interaction with production employees

This job equally operates in a production and professional office environment. The environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.  Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication and may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends and possibly holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, and smell. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear as well as interact with other employees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit/stand and use a computer for extended periods of time.
