We are poised for continued growth and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts.

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Sales to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing and mentoring our inside and outside sales team, and optimizing our distributor network. This role requires a proven leader with deep experience in technical sales, particularly within the instrumentation or analytical equipment sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for gas analyzers, with a particular focus on expanding our footprint in the midstream natural gas market while also growing presence in other industrial and biogas applications.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the inside and outside sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer engagement, lead conversion, and sales efficiency.
  • Strengthen and expand the distributor network by identifying new partners, negotiating agreements, and providing training and support to maximize performance.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and distributors to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth.
  • Provide hands-on product training during customer site visits to support adoption and ensure satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform product development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, operations, and customer service to align on market strategy and customer success.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Enhance sales operations by refining processes and CRM tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Represent AMI at industry events to promote our products and brand, serving as an ambassador for Enpro’s values.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing sales teams and distributor networks.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment, preferably within the instrumentation, analytical equipment, or gas analysis industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring inside and outside sales teams.
  • Significant experience managing, supporting and setting goals for industrial distributors.
  • Travel (mostly domestic, international possible), about 30% - 40%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of gas analysis technologies and applications is highly desirable.
  • Experience within the midstream natural gas market is highly desirable.

 * Enpro carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including the background, education, training, and experience required, as well as geographic considerations such as cost of labor, and applicable local and state laws. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $151,902- $227,854 annually. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Bonus and commission may be eligible for this position. Enpro offers a range of benefits including, but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) matching, and other supplemental insurance options.​
